The Bett Group virtualization team provides consulting, implementation and management of virtualization systems and services. The team can assess your organization current environment and determine how to best consolidate resources in order to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.

The team is proficient in all virtualization arenas, capable of separating hype from substance in order to deliver scalable and efficient solutions:
  • Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization, (MED-V): enables the deployment and management of Windows Virtual PC images throughout an enterprise. By providing large-scale deployments of desktops running Windows XP Professional SP3 that are hosted through Windows Virtual PC, MED-V lets businesses upgrade to Windows 7, even though some of their applications might not yet be fully functional or supported.
  • Virtualizing Small Business Server: Windows Small Business Server is an affordable, all-in-one solution to reduce complexity and increase manageability of server technology in a small business environment.
  • Microsoft Application Virtualization, (App-V): enables enterprises to meet the needs of users and IT by empowering anywhere productivity and accelerated application deployment. App-V provides anywhere user access to applications that are dynamically available on any authorized PC without application installs. Virtual applications and user settings are preserved whether users are online or offline. App-V increases business agility through faster application deployment and updates with no user interruptions. It minimizes conflicts between applications, allowing enterprises to reduce application compatibility testing time.
  • Datacenter Virtualization: includes virtualizing servers and networks and consolidating storage in order to increase flexibility and reduce costs. An effective infrastructure is characterized by having large pools of resources, (processor capacity, memory, drive space, network bandwidth, etc) that can be sliced and diced to dynamically reallocate resources based on need.
  • Enterprise Application Virtualization: entails hosting enterprise systems, (Exchange, database, ERP, SharePoint, etc.) in a virtual environment. Due to the mission critical nature of these systems, any major migration entails special consideration to minimize impact. Special management frameworks and monitoring systems are typically implemented to handle the complexity involved.
  • Microsoft Hyper-V: Hyper-V is an integral part of Windows Server and provides a foundational virtualization platform that enables you to transition to the cloud. With Windows Server 2008 R2 you get a compelling solution for core virtualization scenarios – production server consolidation, dynamic datacenter, business continuity, VDI and test & development.
  • VMware: A leader in the virtualization realm, VMware is well established and has a wealth of products supporting server and data center virtualization, desktop virtualization, cloud computing and application platforms.
